She's not taking it too well. She's too attached to me (I was forced by friends into the relationship) but I like someone else significantly more. She's nice and all but not really for me. Saw these things on the way to Indy. They looked like they were just pulled from a barn. I love the idea of the corvair, I've never driven one though.

Update: got her to accept that we are just going to be friends. Yay, at least she isn't crazy.

My girlfriend, who I broke up with over two years ago called me last week to say she still wasn't over me. After two.fucking.years.

RUN.

That's the only advice I can give to people when they have women problems.

First day of work for me tomorrow and I'm under age. Nothing for me tonight.

It gets easier when you get older and people just stop caring so damn much.....or they go psycho at the drop of the hat. No middle ground. Luckily I've been lucky/smart/fortunate/skilled enough to avoid psychos. I was at a bar downtown earlier this week and a girl I dated for a few months showed up randomly. Literally, I look down the bar at the same time she did and we both had the best "Wait........what?" It was fun to catch up but it went no further than a beer and I was back home, alone, by 8:30 (PARTY HARD!!!!). She's an ER nurse right now so I figured I should avoid pissing her off just in case I find myself in a bad situation some day........Taking the high road can be tough but it's worth it.

Hold on. Now, I guess I'm not trying to tell you to go back or anything, but it's been how long? You guys are how old? She's "too attached?" I don't really think so. This is the same girl that's moving away, no?

Don't beat yourself up over it, be kind, but be firm with your decision. I think you did the right thing, you have to put yourself first. You're not old enough to get attached like that. What happened to kids these days? Get off my lawn, and why's your car so loud?

As far as Corvairs, I'd love the stepside over the sedan body. I think the look is just way cooler.

In hind sight, I should have known this would happen. I probably only agreed to date her because for the prior year I'd been friendzoned by every girl I liked. Lonely and desperate don't make good things happen. I've found a girl who likes me and I like her too so that should work out better (the girl also hosted movie night last week where she showed Rush)

Corvairs are awesome and easily accessible. I own one, and highly recommend it.

Stop trying to pull good oppos down into your vortex of fun and awesomeness ImbibejaminRolland!

And no, this has nothing to do with you not letting me into the hot tub party last week so stop bringing it up already!

They're cheap and under appreciated, I think they're classy. I've toyed with the idea of getting one some day and making a clone of the Yenko corvair cars.

Whenever people tell me they have girl problems I tell them to try dating dudes and then get back to me.

EEVERYONE'S CRAZY, just feels like I'm the only one to try both.

I was a total pansy when I wanted to break up with people. I just went total asshole until I pissed them off enough that they ended the relationship...haha

If she showed Rush, you've gotta ask her out man.

Well good luck with the ladies, you're doing far better than I am haha

I tried that for a bit but felt bad. I'm only an accidental asshole, I can't do it on purpose.

I think 'Corvair' is a veeeeery broad term. Services all your needs:

2 door coupe? Check

2 door convertible? Check

4 door sedan? Check

4 door wagon? Check

6 door van? Check

2 door pick up? Check

EIGHT DOOR VAN? Check

Try dating a guy who's idea of an interesting car is the small van that can take 8 people to Starbucks. Did that once.

Really, James May is more interesting than most guys.

And for God's sake, don't get most stereotypical gay men started on guns. No, it won't bite you. But most urban gay men can't handle working in the country (OK now you hold the vise grip, I'll tighten the lock nut).

Lol, I know that feeling... I'm dating my second straight dude in a row to not particularly enjoy watching sports, whereas I generally find myself either at the stadium or the bar every weekend in the fall. Granted, at least CrzRsn will come with me to a baseball/hockey/football game, and likes cars, whereas the previous did neither. Upgrade!

I'll do hockey, because hockey is awesome to watch in person. Baseball is about as exciting as watching paint dry to me.

I just despise wading the whole social politicking crap that generally goes on. Mainly because I don't fit into the sociopolitical dichotomy that is assumed to be the case. (Libertarians don't fit into the traditional Left<->Right political spectrum that the US tends to model itself on)

Makes me sad, but eventually someone will come about. Maybe. If they aren't total flakes.
